Rehabilitation International (RI) ฉลองครบรอบ 100 ปี พร้อมมอบรางวัล RI Centennial Award of Outstanding Contributions แด่ผู้มีคุณูปการที่ส่งเสริมให้ผู้พิการมีส่วนร่วมในสังคมอย่างเท่าเทียม (equal participation) และผลักดันให้เกิดการพัฒนาที่ครอบครอบคลุม (inclusive development)
การประกาศเกียรติคุณนี้เป็นส่วนหนึ่งของแผนงานของ RI ตามอนุสัญญาว่าด้วยสิทธิคนพิการ (Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities) และเป้าหมายการพัฒนาอย่างยั่งยืน (2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development) เพื่อสนับสนุนการปกป้องสิทธิคนพิการและการพัฒนาที่ครอบครอบคลุมทั่วโลก
เกณฑ์การสมัครและการคัดเลือกโดยสังเขป
- สมัครได้ทั้งบุคคลธรรมดาและองค์กร
- ผู้สมัครต้องทำงานที่เกี่ยวกับการพัฒนาคุณภาพชีวิตผู้พิการอย่างน้อย 5 ปี และมีผลงานเป็นที่ประจักษ์
- ผู้สมัครประเภทองค์กรต้องจดทะเบียนถูกต้องตามกฎหมายและมีความน่าเชื่อถือ
- RI คัดเลือกผู้ชนะ 100 รางวัลทั่วโลก ผู้ชนะแต่ละบุคคลหรือองค์กรจะได้รับเงินรางวัล 10,000 ดอลลาร์สหรัฐ พร้อมประกาศนียบัตรและเหรียญรางวัล

On the occasion of RI’s centennial anniversary, the RI Centennial Award of Outstanding Contributions is announced to commend individuals or organizations that have made outstanding contributions to or had profound impact on the equal participation and inclusive development of persons with disabilities. By this Award, RI aims to facilitate the implementation of the Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities and the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development and promote rights protection and inclusive development of persons with disabilities around the globe.
About the award
- The awardees can be individuals or organizations that have made outstanding contributions to or had profound impact on the equal participation and inclusive development of persons with disabilities.
- A total of 100 awardees will be selected from around the world.
- A prize of US$10,000 will be awarded to each winning individual and/or organization together with a certificate and a medal.
- The applicants (individuals and/or organizations) shall have no less than five years of recognized work in the disability-related fields.
- Organizational applicants shall be legally registered and have high credibility
