CIMB Group Holdings Berhad (CIMB)—one of PFAN’s partners, is hosting an ESG-SME Pitch Challenge on 22 September 2022 to support promising SMEs in advancing their business to the next level. With the theme “Financing the Transition”, the competition aims to not only provide a way for SMEs to raise equity funding but also offer networking opportunities with top investors, corporates, and other entrepreneurs.
PFAN helps identify SMEs that have sustainability-focused business models or operations across ASEAN to compete in the event and provides coaching and advisory services along with other CIMB partners to improve the investment pitches of SMEs.
Top 10 successful SMEs will be selected to have the opportunity to pitch their businesses and raise funding of up to RM10 million (approximately US$2.2 million) from equity investors, such as venture capital, private equity firms, impact investors, government-linked investment companies, and high net worth individuals.
